Sorry, Autumn but once you've exhausted your interviewing skills, there's nothing more you can do to unclam them (unless you have Surveillance, but that will still only give you the chance to unclam 1 supect and that's not a sure thing to happen - so not worth spending your skill points on until much later).
Getting to know the "formula" for the different levels of cases is one way of sometimes working around uncooperative suspects, but if you haven't been able to establish their alibis or find all of them it can still get pretty tricky.
Among the best things to do if you're getting frustrated about suspects clamming up on you too often is to go down a case level until you've gathered enough skill points to acquire a higher level of interviewing skills (f.ex. intermediate or advanced sweet talking) which will help make the suspects more talkative.
Another good option, seeing as you are subscribed, is to join an agency where you can get help on your cases from fellow detectives both in terms of having physical evidence checked by contacts but also unclamming of suspects. If your suspects have clammed up, another detective in your agency will often have the ability to unclam 1-2 of your suspect (although there isn't any guarantee it will always be the ones you hope will unclam ;) :)
