i'm sick of reporting this bug. and it's still not been solved. I know there's prolly more pressing matters.. but ugh. i can't be the only one with this issue.. well.. more cases go to waste.
might as well waste my time again and report the bug yet again.

I wasn't saying that Ben won't fix it if you are not subbed. I am sorry if it looked like i was implying that. I just wanted to say in case someone was subbed, that they didn't need to worry about having lost a day that they paid for.

I am on IE as well, and I have no issues. I get the ocassional exception. But not that server problem,

I've never had a problem... Yea, I get a few errors too but nothing like that, and I'm on IE. ... sorry, I don't have any helpful input...

I am upgraded to the last update of IE, and put normal security settings on, firewall wise I have set everything to allow stuff from the sleuth server.

I used to use IE on my mac but now it is no longer supported. You could always switch to Mozilla which is free. They have a guide to easily convert bookmarks from IE. I am confident that Ben would be pleased with us if we all used the same web browser.

When everyone switches over to Firefox I will go back to using Opera just to be difficult ;)

I have a possible explanation for Ben's silence. As we exchanged a few messages last night.

I know Ben is busy with fixing that problem that causes the entire site to crash once every couple of weeks (and no one can do anything at all.) Both on the code side of things, and making sure that the server can more easily be restarted from the hardware end of things.

(And darn, right as I almost finished building this large poking stick out of sticky tape and chop sticks) to reach on and off button of the server lol.)

It could be that this problem is related, but the guy is trouble shooting. And if it is not related, I am sure this one is next in turn. He is just going down the priority list, and naturally the entire site down problem is priority numero uno!

So I think we all need a little bit patient in terms anything else that doesn't relate to the entire site problem.

Ben usually does credit additional days, if you have a paid subscription but were unable to play due to technical issues that are caused on the sleuth end of things. Obviously not when it is caused on your side, so when the dog ate your harddisk. :)
