I am having a problem with my home computer and the instant messaging pops up, loads and then closes so i can receive messages from anyone. my popups and various other things are set on low or completel turned off. any other suggestions would be helpful

To be clear here.
You are *not* getting Private Messages?
You are sure that you have your pop up blocker either turned totally off (not recomended) or you ahve selected hyperware.com as a friendly address?
Do you have a virus checker or firewall that is also possibly blocking them from appearing?
which browser are you using? The more information you can give the more we can help.

IE 5.0 or greater
pop up blocker (off)

Firefox is a browser, just like IE is a browser.
It is called Mozilla Firefox.
