The time is here to start invitations to Mojo Enterprises.

http://www.geocities.com/sleuth.mojo/home.html

This is a group effort by several detectives to create a fun, helpful and competitive enviroment for people to participate in.

We welcome you to look over our guidelines, our code of conduct and mission statement.

To show that we want to help everyone we are also posting for the first ime in public some (not all ;) ) of Mojo's hunting guidelines.

Remarkable that you come with this statement Ran. Considering I told you less then 24 hours ago, that there are still a lot of people hurt, and (in the process of) leaving.

Your posts makes me feel very uncomfortable. Why push this thread up?????????????????

Why not just leave it at that, you got your way, despite what other people wanted. Lets just let the people who don't like it, leave the game quietly, they don't want an audience, no need to kick them in the ass on their way out. Give them at least that, and accept their departure.

I make this statment publicly exactly because of that Jst.

I let this drop a long time ago, I have been working as Director of Mojo Enterprises for over 3 months. We have had a very good time doing so.

I did not bring this topic up in chat, or on the boards, you and others did.

As I said much earlier in this thread, this is something that has happened, and people need to realize that not wanting change is not going to stop it.

Where in my posts have I ever said that I want anyone to leave? That I am forcing people out? I am trying very hard to be INclusive, and not tell people they have to change or leave.

You have chosen to take that post as directed at you and somehow are reading that I want people to leave. If I post or not - if someone is upset with the changes in the game they will leave.

Sleuth needs active players that are willing to help each other out and work together to make the community stronger. Leaving very rarely helps people work together.

I want to start by saying that I am a Newbie and a notorious 'fence sitter'...
I read this thread on my first day and to be honest it doesnt 'sell' the site... If I wasnt made of such stern stuff I would probably not still be here as it all seems far too 'political'. I have spoken to a lot of people about this and it does seem that the majority arent happy about it.

My personal view aside (fence sitting tacktic) I think its too late to go back. Its out there now and unless something is put in place to prevent it from happening it will continue either up front (as it is now) or secretly. I know which I prefer. I am sure Ran is just the first of many as now the idea is out there like minded individuals will follow. Pandora's box has been opened and like it or not this is now part of the game.

Basically admin has two choices.
1. Implement something to stop this sort of thing.

ie. not just 48 hours before returning to the same agency but 48 between leaving an agency and joining another so people would really have to think before leaving.

or

2. Implement something to incorporate a monopoly on agencies as part of the game.

ie. Make becoming an international agency the next stage in the game but you can no longer compete in treasure hunts. You have some other thing you can do (I have no idea what)

There is option 3... Do nothing... but that doesnt seem to be working at the moment.

Why can't we all just get along???

hugs to all those who know me

All I can say is that I'm glad I explored the game on my "own" for a long while before I decided to join an agency. At least in that position I was capable of exploring things by "trial & error" which i think at my humble opinion is by far preferable.

I can see the benefit of joining an agency right from the start. It helps you with items, case solving and so forth. But what fun is it to join a competitive agency that regards you as nothing more as an instrument to achieve goals you're not even capable of setting yourself. Meaning that you have to accept "marching orders" and do no nothing but work on easier levels so you'll get to do all your favors which in return is good for the treasure hunts. What fun is it to be in an agency and when you get to know the others you have to be relocated because it serves the overall strategy....

Suit yourself folks, but I still don't regret the path I've chosen.

quote my post, where I say you said something, then tell everyone what you really said.

*smiles sweetly* And bumping up such a contentious post creates "exactly [what] kind of community" that you "want to help create".?
