How does Stress Detection work?

Like I said, how does it work? Will I be able to see if a suspect is going to clam up on me on my first question?

Sam,

Yes the better your Interview skills get (Tough/Charm) the more questions you will get answered.

Stress detection is a nice skill but there are lots of others that are more useful for a new detective or an older detective.

It was about equal... and both occured far too frequently for my liking though. I went for adv rule breaking in the end because it was cheaper. *nod*

Having the advanced skills gives you a better chance of unclamming your suspects, and also a better chance of them answering more than one question once they do unclam--the higher your total charm/tough score, the higher the chance that they'll answer more than 1 question. If I remember correctly, Int Sweet Talking is +20 and Advanced is +15 on top of that, plus of course your gear.
