I'm doing a favor (not for the bartender, I don't think I'll be getting him in time to do the treasure hunt) and I have one suspect that clammed so I couldn't get an alibi, but I have a witness that saw him wearing the watch after the murder.

I have a suspect with a fake alibi and a footprint that belongs to him, he's the witness who saw the other guy.

Who do I accuse?!! I've eliminated everyone else (research and one died) and everyone's clammed now after I asked all my questions.

I know there's a formula, but I don't remember exactly what it is.

Well if the false PE was a bloody footprint then they'd have to have visited afterwards, or at least assaulted the victim prior to the murder. If it was a threatening note then that's harrasement. If there was a torn out clump of hair then they probably assaulted the victim. And if there was a thread caught under the fingernail... well... they probably doing things that they shouldn't or they assaulted the victim as well. They're all guilty! Everyone's guilty of something, especially the ones that aren't.

But yeah, I get your point... I was thinking fair too narrowly. And that is why I'm not a PI in real life.
