I noticed that everyone has different ways of doing their recruiting on the recruitment board. Some say "looking for agents" not much else, others give detailed descriptions. Also the agency descriptions don't reveal much, they are more a creative expression then anything else.

I have noticed that sometimes people join your agency, and from the get go it is already a bad fit. (For instance how much playing time someone wants have.) You often don't have time to interview someone in a detailed way. And you spend 5 days, spending a lot of time on a bad fit. The awkwarndess. And all the other things that could have been prevented by proper expectations. Like people that expect us to buy off their falses 2 times on their first day. :)

Recruitment ideas:
1. Have an additional format on the recruitment msg board. For instance the level of detective, if contacts are required, how many days online per week, cases played, rent required, faction standing, pass word sharing. Any perks like free equipment, free travel to agency destination. If there is something special set up for falses.
(This will really set apart agencies from each other.)

2. Have an additional info on the agency, at easy one page access. Super active, or not. Amount of treasure hunts won in the last month. If hanging out and being social is equally important as playing the game. A brief hello/bio/whatever of each member. I.e. a more detailed Agency page (like the detective page, that contains all sorts of stats about a single agent.) THis agency page could also include the want add, and they can apply on the detective page by sending private message.

3. Instead of an agent being able to receive an invite. For an agent also to apply. With on the receiving end options to: invite, decline, and save.

I am not sure if this is the way to go. But I just wanted to throw out there, that maybe some discussion about agency transparancy is handy. So my ideas are one way of doing that.
