I'm doing my first featured case, and my client told me her alibi was at a medical conference where tons of people would have seen her. How can I check that?

You can't. In special featured mysteries, there are alibis that you can check, and some that you can't. You'll have to assume that she is either telling the truth ir lying -- it can be hard doing that. Go to the suspect's main page, and if it says "NONE" where the alibi should be, the suspect is obviously lying. Am I confusing you?
