Twice today I've had cases where I have witness evidence pointing to a suspect, backed with material evidence.. and then I accuse the person, and it's not them!

Oy.

Anyone else had this problem at all?

Never seen this.

Just helped a agency member who had PE against someone who was clammed. She found the WE against that person from both sources so accused correctly.

PE + Liar/none
WE + Liar/none
WE + WE

Those are the correct combinations.

PE + WE alone will not solve it, alibi still needs to be confirmed or denied.

They had no alibi or had a fake alibi.

Which is what baffels me. How could the person that did the crime.. have nothing points towards them?

Unless it's a set up. Which, to my knowledge doesn't happen in the game.

Probably a bug. You'll have to check in with Ben the Sleuth Admin with that. "Report a Bug or Typo" in City Hall.

Many times ppl say they had a suspect with no/fake alibi and evidence against that turned out innocent.
Till now everytime these were reported to Ben it turned out that the detective made mistake somewhere.
You can try bug repot but good chance its not a bug but a mistake in your own note taking.

It is increadably aggrevating to have one piece of PE and one witness statement against a POI that won't give up an alibi. I tend to risk an accusation... and that's why I have two hits on my record that I can't pay off yet! Don't be like me, play safe! ;)
