Ben, while looking at my character, and veiwing my seal skinned coat, hat, silver cane, and expensive purfume bottle, I thought how neat it would be to buy or recieve different types of footwear from doing favors, so we can have a complete outfit. For the beginners they could make it to where they wear house slippers, sandles, or tennis shoes, then as their experience points goes up, make the shoes more expensive, such as aligator shoes, ostrich or lizard, elephant types of cowboy boots, and the same in ladies high-heels, plus maybe even allow lady detectives to choose expensive handbags made out of these types of animals.I thought it would look cool to be in shoes.. After all, we can't have detectives running about Sleuthsville without shoes on..hehehe. Also here another thought, you could have complete ski outfits, and skies, or scubba gear.

i want some glass slippers! ;)

actually, shoes would be kind of neat, since our little outline has feet and they are so bare and our tootsies are cold!

Well said DaRu that's a very good idea it gives more incentive in the game and more adjustments, and what about noisy footware for the tough to scare suspects, pretty or "cannot hear your steps" for the charming and boots where you can hide stuff?

Brilliant idea DaRu!

P.S. you could type your message on, say, Notepad, and then cut and paste it into the message box when you've finished to avoid the rush.

Thanks everyone for responding to the idea of wearing footwear, and you are right Sunny, I shouldn't worry about my grammar & spelling, it's just the way I was raised. My Dad was an english teacher & was constantly correcting my brother, sister & I...lol. Also, believe it or not, my x-husband was an attorney,& I was his personal secretary for over eight years, however, the wonderful thing about computers & working with WORK PERFECT in a law office, is it done the spell checking for me. However, in a law office I used legal words & was I typed by transcribing from a dictaphone, which was pretty much done by x-husband, then he'd preview the documents before they were filed, and so on. So I guess it bothers me because of these two factors..lol. But Sunny you're right it's (& I laughed at your statement of "freaking message boards...hehe..cute", so true, so true. So, I'll try to relax and enjoy my time on the message boards, with less worry. I appreciate Elvis/Evita (I give him a hard time about his name..ha)for the great idea. I can do that, then all is perfect, unless I just do as you said Sunny, then so be it. A big thank you to my two adopted daughters Elsey & Vin Riddick. They call me Chicago's Mother there....I'm kind of like a Sorority Mom in college..ha! I love shoes too. I must have over 100 pairs, just for the sake of having them I suppose....hehehe. So I love dressing up with shoes to match. Elsey, our little cinderalla, maybe they'll include some glass slippers too. Of course for those that wants to slip around quietly and nab those killers, you could put on some hush puppies, or fur boots, or even house shoes..ha! Just don't in your P.J.'s...Oh, I suppose it could happen, if you're one who walks in your sleep. Well so much for dressing up in Sleuthsville, Killsville County, USA.

OK, as you can see Evita, I didn't cut and past. I wish I had of, but I really thought I typed it right. I proof read it, and I didn't complete my sentence to you Sunny..lol. Where I said: But Sunny your right it's........then I interrupted my thoughts, with another thought...con't...it's just a (your words again) freaking message board, and it doesn't have to be perfect. My husband told me that I used up too much of the message boards, and that I shouldn't type such long messages. The problem with me is, I don't know how to say or type something the short way...but I do admire all of you that can get things said by using a few words. I will do my best to work on cutting them short. "Happy Sleuthing", everyone.

Thank goodness it doesn't matter if we make mistakes or not, because if it did, Ben would have kicked me out of Sleuthsville, a long time ago for posting my poorly written novels...I mean messages on the boards. I know, you're probably thinking: "Does DaRu ever stop", she's like the energizer bunny, goes on, and on, and on, and...well you get the picture..lol I PROMISE NO MORE......Bye!!!!
