What about a World Bank where you can deposit money from the agency safe and earn interest. It would be great to earn something on the money sitting in an agency safe.

I haven't done the maths on this, but wouldn't this also create perpetual agencies?

If an agency had enough money in the bank, then the interest rates would earn them enough money to cover the rent without anything ever being earned on cases. Is this a possibility?

I'm not suggesting this is a bad thing, just a possible ramification of an interest paying bank.

I think that could depend on the interest and the amount in the bank.
Amounts that may be used could be for traveling expenses, paying shady and perhaps buying items from the factions. This may mean the amount decreases at times with the amount the interest gives.

I like the idea of a bank...makes sense to get your money working for you. It works in neopets so i dont see why it cant work here... they have different levels of account depending on how much money you have deposited... the first one is like a starter account where you earn like 1% interest on a daily basis but it also has to be collected on a daily basis or you lose it. the top account is platinum or something and you earn a really high %

You could also set up a direct debit for rent if you are going away so you dont have to give out your password if you dont want to.

I dont think transfering accounts between detectives is a good idea though.

Gees I love brain storming!

I like the direct debit thing for those who pay mandatory rent :)

I've bumped this up since it's similar to Dark Raven's post about the bank and gaining intrested on saved money.
