What about a World Bank where you can deposit money from the agency safe and earn interest. It would be great to earn something on the money sitting in an agency safe.

Yeah, we would love to earn 0.0000000000000000001 cent every month. lol! :D

The idea you mentioned (in your words) is still a bit vague. How much interest will be gained? I think it would be easier without a World Bank, because it would be a difficulty with it.

yeah, and what kind hardboiled detective agency gives The Man his money to earn interest? detectives are paranoid, thats why they keep their money in a safe

One percent interest on one cent is .00001. Colonel Shanty I'm shocked Mr.T's only has that in it's safe. *wink*

5 percent of 50,000 would give you 2,500 even one percent on that amount is 500.
This money could help with rent or the agency clerk.

World Bank could be found at the agency under office safe.

Rent and Agency clerk salary could be deducted from the total amount of the two sums of money.

Interest could be calculated daily and there could be a fee for withdrawing money.

A director would be able to withdraw funds from other cities.

Ok that is a few ideas, one main advantage would be helping out those agencys with members absent or with samll numbers who still pay rent every day. Possibly less evictions.

I always found it strange that there is a bank, but you can't put your money in. :) And I think it is a good idea, for instance to save cash for a rainy day, or when your detective retires you can pick it up with your new det.

Percentages and execution wise and how this would work in a detailed way. I don't know. I love the idea. But I would leave that up to Ben to determine, as we always do when we give him suggestions. Usually he knows how things works best, and not making the games too easy.

I like this idea. however, I would require a minimum deposit. Maybe this would encourage a detective to save up for a rainy day, staash it away, and have access to it in the future.

This has been suggested beore, and there are some things that give me pause about the idea.

The first is this: If we did allow the account to be transfered between detectives, after retiring, how would we keep people from exploiting that? I mean, what would stop somebody from creating a detective, putting their starting cash in the bank, retiring, starting another detective, adding the starting cash to the account, then repeating the process 20 times before finally creating the detective who will keep all the cash?

Maybe you should make it so only people with over 100,000 experience can use the bank.

The Interest account I was suggesting was realy only found at the Agency and withdrawing or depositing was no different then who can take money from the safe now a director of that agency.

I like the idea of a bank for detectives money in general as well but I can see there could be problems.

Thanks for responding to the suggestion Ben.

If it was only open to subscribers, then it could not easily be abused.
