this is jwonie here, and I'm just getting back in the saddle after a year or so break from Sleuth. For all you players who have yet to affiliate with an agency, and are looking for the next elevator to the top, i suggest you hitch a ride with this one. R. Steele Detective Agency wants you!

cont.

now did one person give me a chance to explain what happened then or now? no. not everyone who plays sleuth is like that, but a few of you take it a little too seriously and forget to put yourself in the other persons position. i was an active, helpful member of fat kitten until one day i decided i hated everyone and wanted to ruin the agency? how much sense does that make? When i decided i felt like trying sleuth again, i guess i had thought that maybe people would have calmed down a little, and i could start playing again.

so, if anyone thinks i have done something wrong, hurt someone, or anything like that, in the future, just send me a private message letting me know what you think is going on, and your feelings about it. Honest, i'm a nice guy who, two years ago, had an immature jerk of a brother.

jwonie, my comments were not about your days in Fat Kitten, that would have been long before my time.

I am trying very hard to ensure that Mojo is an active agency, with good detectives that are treated fairly. I want to be on good terms with our competition. I want to help out as needed.

You say that you were having a conversation with one of our detectives and mentioned hiring them. That is what I am talking about. I have told other directors in the past that they are free to talk to our detectives, but after they have talked to me. I have told all of our detectives that they are free to explore other options if they are unsatisifed at Mojo. All I ask is that everyone treat it like an adult. Be open, honest and upfront about it.

I dislike responding in PM to public comments, I think that people who do that are trying to hide something. I am glad to talk about this with you if you want, now that we have both made a comment here on it.

Once again, I think that you can do a good job, especially if you are an experienced player. Mojo welcomes new agencies to London all the time. Come on by and give us some friendly competition. Just follow a few rules of ettiquette.

i understand your concerns, and i appreciate your response. please understand i wasn't trying to be dishonest, rude or underhanded, i just wasn't aware of the ettiquette. I see how you think responding in PM to public comments appears like someone is trying to hide something, but realize i dislike responding in public comments to PMs. I would think that also would be ettiquette. anyway, i hope this can be put behind us and we can resume friendly competition.
