Don't let it be misunderstood. You DON'T have to be lonely to join.

I dont think anyone would misunderstand ...lonely and lone mean two different things :)

Isn't lone-ly an adverb of lone? Ah, just forget it! *watching Makensie walking back to her office*

*peeks head back in* Well, a person can be a loner...or as your agency has it , a 'lone' wolf..meaning out on their own, but that doesnt necessarily mean they are lonely :) Ofcourse this is just how I see it anyways lol Its no biggy, Im out of cases, and felt like saying it *grins* *waves at Bad, and sees who else she can jabber to*

Jwonie, stay away from Mojo people.

*looks out at the room*

And that goes for the rest of you sneaky people that are trying to steal away Mojo agents.... I may not know who you are, yet...but when I find out, I'm coming after you too. They are free to leave and look for new homes anytime they are unhappy where they are. I don't appreciate headhunters whispering in their ears.

It would be nice to see people have the guts to actually talk to the director of an agency about other detectives.

Mojo had someone come here from another agency recently. We talked to the directors of that agency after that detective talked to us. BEFORE going into discussions about possibly hiring that person. It was handled in an adult and professinal manner.

If you are so unsure of your skills at running an agency then perhaps you should start out with an existing agency like Fat Kitten or the Guild and learn the ropes there first.

WARNING!!! jswonie2 has stolen from a past agency, where he was director. Do NOT join this agency unless you are careful. I do not want to see someone taken advantage of. This is my BIGGEST pet peeve.

wow, ok, slow down here. let's take these in order. first cfm, before you start "coming after me too", realize i am not a headhunter. I had a friendly conversation with a detective who mentioned how she too had had trouble with finding recruits to start an agency, wasn't having any fun, and finally gave up and joined a bigger agency. I mentioned that was welcome if she wanted to be co-director at my agency if she ever felt like it. end of story. Please refrain from threatening me for making a harmless gesture.

ok, next, R. Anstett, im sorry if you felt what i said was some how gutless, immature, or unprofessional. I did not realize that by that passing comment i was "going into discussions about hiring" someone. Thank you for the advice, but, maybe i just don't understand what you mean by the skills i apparently am so unsure of, and this goes for your entire message, perhaps some ropes perhaps you and cfm missed out on were getting your point across to people in a civil manner.

finally, R. Sweets. I understand how seeing people being taken advantage would bother you, it bothers me too. It's true, and before anyone else trys to undermine me or impinge my character, i'd like to explain what R. Sweets is talking about. I have a brother, 3 years younger than me. Around two years back, after i had started playing for a while, i did something to make my brother really mad at me, i don't remember what. he wanted to get back at me, so while i was at a friends house, he logged on to my character and did everything he could to mess up my game, including stealing money and items from my agency and then resigning me from that agency, and sending rude messages to people. when i got back, i logged on to find a slew of angry pm's and did not know what in the world had happened. Now i was kind of thinking about taking a break, so i was more upset he had made all the people in my agency so mad, but i didn't have the time or energy to explain what had happened.
