How does PayPal work ?

I wanted to buy a subscription and I completed the details. I had to create a new PayPal account. I did and I logged in to it and it says that I cannot add funds. How the hell do I add funds in my PayPal account ?

You may have to verify yoru paypal account first before using it.
It has been quite a while that I started but I seem to recall needing to confirm an email or something.
That being said, be very careful about any email coming from PayPal. That is one of the top phishing attacks, so that they can access your accounts and drain your credit card. I always go directly to the pay pal site to do anything with them rather than follow any links.

I tried with my AMEX card and it rejected it, saying that it could not verify it. Geeeeeeee!!!!!! This is a card form the company I work for, how could it be invalid ?

I donno, but it sounds to me like that you haven't completed all steps out the expanded use program. Does it say you are verified now?
