A question for those who count out things.

I did a favor, turned in 2 cases, traveled, turned in 1 case and did not earn a favor. Shrugs, turns in another case, did not earn a favor again.

I was careful to count as they were the last for the day for me.

Did this not work in the past? Perhaps the new hunting rules are having an effect? or has it always been 3 successful cases in the new city to earn a favor?

You normaly need to do three cases in the new city befor you get the favour but sometimes you can get a favour in the new city if you have done some cases in the old city after that cities favour. This does not happen every time, so I ask after every case in a new city just in case.

But Blue, I did a total of four after the favor. I did not check to see if there was a favor for me after I turned in the two because a couple of months ago here on the boards we discussed that very fact. That you never got a favor after 2, only after 3 solved cases *after* you did your favor case.

I solved a favouur London, that left me with 4 cases. I did two from the case files. Travelled to Shanghai (4 cases). At reset, did my one case and got my favour.

Ran, I have experienced that you can do two cases one place, travel, and then do two more in the new city and earn a favor, but I also have noticed that I can't absolutely count on it. Perhaps it's just not always consistent?

Must say it's been consistent enough for me.

However, Bob, just to follow up on our previous conversation; whereas I don't think the formula for the skill points is something that should be crept under wraps and primarily discussed in a chat, this area I do, however, think is one that falls under your category of "by chat" or "discover it on your own"-subjects ;)
