Is safecracking really worth the 12 skill points? Or should I just go looking for the keys to thw vault?

Same. Nearly all my cases used to increase my standing with la cosa nostra. Eventually I too got it as my first faction gang boss skill. I think I wasnt in an agency and was unsubscribed. I found out it wasnt useful. Anyways I think Ive only managed to use it 2 times though. You wont use it a lot but it is a good skill if your agency is in lots of hunts and the hunts go by keys.
