Is it my impression, or did the faction points start descending more rapidly?

Yes, they now go down at 2 a day. Or do you mean more rapidly than that?

I believe it depends on your points. The more points you have, the more you lose every day.
I used to lose 4 every day, and I regained them with the daily job, so I was always at about the same. But now my points started falling although I don't remember missing any little job, so i assumed that the numbers changed again.

The formula has been tweaked. People with lower standings (under 20) now lose less points every day. Players with relatively high standings (over 40) lose more points than before.
