Someone in game came up to me and I had to pay $500 to find out where something was-- it said it was the warehouse a block away from the dock but I can't find it on the map anywhere? where should i go?

That’s Big Lucy’s Cabaret. You won’t see an icon for it but if you click around the map in the area where you’re told you’ll find it. The directions you get are only good until you start another case though, so check it out before you start working again.

There are times you’ll have to find Big Lucy’s, but otherwise you can safely save $500 and not miss much.
