I just heard about this game and was super excited to play. I’ve been working on the Drake case, but whenever I attempt to analyze handwriting or thread at the bank or the tailors, I get sent to home page and am asked to login again after selecting what suspect I think the handwriting/thread belongs to.

Has anyone else encountered this?
I was thinking of buying a subscription, but I feel like this issue makes investigating nearly impossible. 😔

I play on Mobile (iPhone) and I had not encounter this problem. Probably a broswer specific issue. Which browser do you use?

Unfortunately I think this is a permanent bug. If you are doing a scripted mystery, you can't use the evidence checking people in town unless it's one that is a contact for you.

I am also experiencing this same thing. I made the leap to purchase a subscription so it's super disappointing that I can't investigate properly... :(

I subscribed for the summer months and found the featured mysteries on the easier levels were still solvable even without fully analyzing the evidence. With that and all the fun of traveling, I still plan on subscribing again next summer too :) Enjoy your opportunities to explore!

Yes, I've already solved two I think without having to discover physical evidence. But I'm afraid to go further than the easy ones.
