Is anyone else noticing that the money isn't calculating correctly? For example, I just finished a favor case and it doesn't show the additional $4800 after I sold the item.

No, I didn't but it was off by several thousand. Maybe I looked at it wrong, which is possible. I'll keep a close eye on it to see if it happens again.

In today's episode of "I'm an idiot", I figured out my issue. I had mistakenly thought grooming was $1000 instead of $5000- which is where the missing money went.
