Are skill points directly related to your experience points? If not maybe you can get more skill points by doing a lot of cases at a lower level, rather than doing one incredibly hard.

Yes, skill points are awarded based on how many exp points you earn. So, doing harder cases will earn you skill points sooner.

And the more skill points you get, the harder it is to earn them. Choose your skills wisely.

Thanks marylou ive learned that already. by the way it seems impractical to go for both toughs and charms. that also makes judgement a worthless skill
