I've tried again and again, but it says: "The card you entered cannot be used. Please enter a different... etc etc".
The card is valid and everything. I'd subscribed the last time using the same card, maybe around a month ago.

Any ideas why it isn't working now?

Actually last time I'd used a card and it wouldn't work, so I tried again with a different one (the same number, but only a different expiry date) and it worked. This time both the cards didn't work. Not sure if that's only with me or anyone else too, though.
