I just noticed these so if they have been around awhile, I apologize for not being more observant.
they are great!
I feel it's an improvment, gives the game an even more noir feel and add another dimension of reality.
Soooo
I was wondering: is this a clue to the type of suspect?? any body notice a corollation between Charm or Tough and clamming?

There have been a few little additions lke that lately - see the Urgent Telegraph in City Hall for more. Personally I haven't noticed any correlation with Charm and Tough, I would imagine that Ben just got bored and decided to liven things up a little. It's exciting though! I hope there'll be more!
