Detective Biography

This was definitely not the life I planned. I started out doing journalistic work for a local rag, covering all the grime and glimmer of the city. Turned out, I had a knack for digging up the truth, for getting people to spill their secrets.

But working for that overbearing editor? That was a nightmare. He was as unreasonable as a rainy London summer and twice as dim- not to mention I couldn't stand the way his ogling eyes followed me around the room. So, I walked out, determined to make it on my own as a freelance writer.

Frustration set in as success remained elusive, and my lovely partner, ever the supportive soul, insisted I didn't need to work. Whether it was to spare me the stress or to mold me into his future wife, I'd rather not know. But I never stopped watching - After all, his job and social standing gave me a front-row seat to the city's underbelly—dirty deals and corrupt connections played out at high-society gatherings.

His murder made me realize just how deep the rot went, and I knew I couldn't turn a blind eye.

Now, I put all that past to use as a private investigator, navigating the shadows and unveiling the truths others want to keep buried.
