Detective Biography

This was definitely not the life I planned. I started out doing journalistic work for a local rag, covering all the grime and glimmer of the city. Turned out, I had a knack for digging up the truth, for getting people to spill their secrets.

But working for that overbearing editor? That was a nightmare. He was as unreasonable as a rainy London summer and twice as dim- not to mention I couldn't stand the way his ogling eyes followed me around the room. So, I walked out, determined to make it on my own as a freelance writer.

Frustration set in as success remained elusive, and my well-meaning partner—who, despite his charm, was far more concerned with our future together than my career—suggested I quit working. Whether he wanted to shield me from stress or had other plans, I’m not sure.
But I never stopped watching. His wealthy circle and social status gave me an inside look at the city’s hidden world—dirty deals and shady alliances unfolding at glamorous events.

His murder made me realize just how deep the rot went, and I knew I couldn't turn a blind eye.

Now, I put all that past to use as a private investigator, navigating the shadows and unveiling the truths others want to keep buried.
