Detective Biography

The name's Cavendish. Used to be a detective with the police, back when I believed that justice had a fighting chance.

I spent years slogging through the grime and red tape, wading through meaningless paperwork that buried more truths than it uncovered. The higher-ups were more interested in keeping the status quo than actually solving murders. Cases went cold, families were left hanging, and I was stuck in a web of corruption that stretched from the streets to the top brass. After a while, it got to me—the inefficiency, the impotence of it all.

I quit the force, hung up my badge, and decided to go solo. Figured if the system was broken, I'd do better working outside it. Opened my own practice, taking on cases the boys in blue couldn't—or wouldn't—solve. It's not just about bringing justice to my clients; it's about finding a sense of purpose in this mess of a world.

In a city this rotten, sometimes it takes stepping out of the shadows to sniff out the truth. So here I am, doing what I do best—solving the unsolvable, and maybe, just maybe, making a difference.
