Detective Biography
Augustine is a bored socialite who finds herself suddenly widowed, her deviant husband murdered. After being resolved of suspicion, she helps the police in their investigation by analysing some clues.
When the murderer is caught - a twisted young man who was out to "punish" deviancy in the small town in which he lived - Augustine realizes what a thrill it is to help solve a crime.
She strikes out on her own, quietly, to help solve others.
