Detective Biography

Walking away from a life of privilege, Pilsner DeBeers, heir to the vast DeBeers fortune, left home at an early age and hitched up with the Merchant Marines. From there young Pilsner travelled the world, supporting himself by taking odd jobs and living off of his wits. In the Far East he learned mimicry. In Africa, he learned to sleep with his eyes open. In the Deep South, he learned the secret to melt-in-your-mouth BBQ ribs. During his travels, from correspondence with his brother, Ale, he learned of his father’s passing. Old Hop had faded off one night, never making peace with his black-sheep son.
After years of traveling from port to port, without a home of his own, word came to Pilsner that his younger brother Ale, after serving in the war, returned home, only to be killed in a sleazy, two-bit bar. Wasting no time, an aged Pilsner returned home and sought justice for the dead soldier. After seeing his murder get the chair, Pilsner set up shop in the big city, where he spends his days waiting for a tall, cool dame to give him the case of a lifetime.
