Detective Biography
Formerly a defense attorney 0f some renown, Rick "Gear" Stone got his nickname from his logical thinking prowess, as the 'gears of his mind' were always turning. Irritated at the police department's ineptitude with finding clues and their incredible ability at accusing the wrong person, he took up private investigating in between cases, hoping to make sure the right person got accused. He is highly intelligent, can be highly intimidating when the need arises, but lacks any real people skills.
