Most of the books are hidden in the catacombs of Cairo and the cargo hold of the Sleuthetania. Two of them are in the caves of Shangri-La, and one at the Big Lucy's. The skill of trap detection is extremely helpful, because without it it's almost impossible to navigate the different catacombs.
You need to become very friendly with the Tigers of Shangri La to get it. To buy the books from the factions you need to have a +15 standing with them.
