Detective Biography

It always seems to be raining - one night there was a different type of rain though. It wasn't really rain that was falling, it was tears. Tears of murder victims whose killers never saw justice. That was about to change.

There were killers, and there were victims, there was someone connecting the two...no, that's what was missing. The police were getting a lot of it wrong, so much that homicide division was almost useless, and any PI can only handle so many cases - trouble was there were more cases than could be handled, so a lot was going unsolved.

Things were about to change, a new PI had come to town - a PI who knew how the system worked and could figure out what the criminals were doing to avoid the law.

He'd travelled a lot before he settled down, so he knew what was out there, and he still travelled the globe in some of his dreams, ones that seemed very real - but every day he'd awake in the same city.

He had lost a lot of money in Shanghai, betting on horses that never seemed to finish in the right order, so he needed money - and wasn't likely to find it in Shanghai's race track. This wasn't Shanghai though, this was New York - where cleaning up the streets seemed to be an unending job that could pay the bills.
