"i won't rest until I hold justice..."
it was my very first slumber party, i was so happy. Kat is my best friend since kindergarten and my mom finally let me sleep over her house, I'm seven. Her mother makes one of the most delicious cookies in the block and I really loved her cookies. It was already twelve in the morning and we were telling ghost stories while munching on the cookies when we heard a shriek sound coming downstairs and a sound of wheels on a hurry to go away. We run to the kitchen, curiosity in our mind when we found Kat's mother, lying in her own pool of blood. The house is silent, still... i wanted to scream but my voice just won't go out. I saw Kat tears for the first time. She's strong, she always protected me and she never cried until now. I felt anger rushing in me. I hate it when I see people that are special to me cried. I hugged her. From that day, we decided to hunt the man who took her mother's life. She'll become a lawyer and I'll become a detective. Together we will bring justice to those who need it...
