Detective Biography

Elena Katherine was born into the wealthy family of hotel owners in the late 1890s. Her father gained status in their small community in northern New York to become mayor of the town. In her teens, she had a falling out with her parents in a dispute over a young man she had fallen in love with. She ran away with this young man in 1921 to the bustling city of Chicago, but after a year in poverty and a complete change in lifestyle, she left him to become something of her own. She has since taken up amatuer sleuthing in the distant city of London, England to get back on her feet and steer her life in the direction she has always hoped to follow.
