Detective Biography

The first thing you need to know about Geddes is she's an elf, and a very reluctant elf at that. Quite how she achieved this elfin status is a somewhat hazy tale that we need not venture into here. Suffice to say any imaginings you may have of pint sized people, sylph like beauty and dancing in the morning dew would be sadly wide of the mark. Geddes is not THAT sort of elf and this, dear reader, is what bugs her so much.

The second thing you need know: she is married to a garden gnome. This is not a marriage of her choosing; it is certainly not a love match and yet, to call it a marriage of convenience would be misleading also. She simply awoke one morning to find she had been hitched to this abominable gnome who has, as yet, to even acknowledge the existence of his dear wife let alone indulge her with husbandly favours and who (to add insult to injury) is hell bent upon sleeping with every other female in London.

Fate has not been kind to sweet Geddes but she bears her burden with fortitude in the sure and certain knowledge that one day she may exact her revenge (Geddes is no fool and is well aware who guided the hand of fate upon her journey).

Deciding very quickly that the best form of defence lies in the offence; she speedily became adroit in the use of the spoon. A weapon so deadly when held in the right hands, that one quick stir can overset the lives of many hundreds of people. Her spoon, carried with her at all times, is used without compunction and to date, has been extremely effective in averting any further disasters.

Quite by chance she recently discovered she was the proud owner of a meat cleaver and, whilst (as yet) she has no set plans for her new toy, those who meddle in her meddling need do so with extreme care in future.
