Detective Biography
My mother was a wealthy land baroness who had me out of wedlock with a famous sculptor she met on holiday in Gstaad. I inherited both her money and his talents.
With those, I went to finest art academy in Paris only to find that I preferred the nightlife and trouble of the Parisian streets than relearning marble cutting techniques. After going to Rome, London, Rio and other fabulous destinations upon dropping out of school, I then took to Monte Carlo where I proceeded to gamble away most of my fortune. I called in favors from my contacts in France. I racked up several gambling debts, which led me to get in deep trouble with the Parisian crime bosses.
I had to fake my own death and take up a whole new identity, evading having a hit put on me but retaining my blue-blooded identity upon returning to the States.
I hightailed it back to Manhattan where I could moonlight in culture and art and attempt rebuilding my riches. As the innovative new flavor of the month sculptor, I became a true ladies' man to the women of New York aristocracy.
My popularity with the dames led me to have a severe unpopularity with the high society gentleman. One fateful night during a fabulous Croton-on-Hudson gala, I had been romancing my latest interest on the mansion's balcony. But when I took her in my arms, I pulled a dagger out of her back. It was driven through a note that said, "You're next." I made an enemy out of a sociopathic automobile baron who didn't want me going near his wife...OR his mistresses.
Soon after, I was escaping death several times and my mistresses kept ending up in body bags, until I caught the baron face-to-face and brought him to justice with my bayonet. I realized I had a knack for catching someone crazy enough to kill...why not make a business of it?
