Detective Biography
Agatha Holmes was born on October 10, 1895 at 221B Baker Street, London. She was the illegitimate child of Sherlock Holmes and Ms Irene Adler. Agatha was raised by her Aunt Betty (a cruel and loveless woman) and was sent to boarding school as soon as she was old enough. She completed her education at St Paul's Girls Public School in London.
Agatha dreamed of studying criminal law at Oxford University and working as criminal defence attorney for the Legal Aid Society of London. However, this dream would never be realised, as it was unsuitable for women in those days, to work in this profession.
With her dreams shattered, Agatha was disillusioned and bitter. She decided to seek a new life in Paris. Within a short number of years, Agatha grew to be the most sought after woman in all of France. She was serving as a courtesan to wealthy and powerful men of the day, and she chose her lovers carefully. She associated herself with the likes of Prince Albert of Monaco, King Edward VII of the United Kingdom and the Kings of Spain. Her love affairs made her infamous. Six men reportedly committed suicide after their love affairs with Agatha ended, although this has never been substantiated beyond a doubt. :-)
After a couple of years, Agatha became bored with her life in Europe and made up her mind to explore the Americas and a new career. In the early 1920's, things were really rocking in the US. The country was booming and it was the land of opportunity. She decided it was time to pursue her interest in crime and decided to become a Private Detective.
Today - Agatha the Private Detective:
Agatha has a certain exotic look about her, possesses grace and style, which was often irresistible to men and has a flair for the dramatic. She is an intellectual with the capacity to understand and read human nature (thanks to those years as a courtesan!). Despite her lean build, she is quite physically capable. She is a skilful fencer, and usually gets the better of her opponents when she has to engage in physical combat. Her ability to solve crimes is much like that of the magician in his ability to work magic.
The magic is rather simple, but the effects are astounding…
