Detective Biography
Originally considered a dunce in grade school, he managed to become one of New York's great detectives after a Charlie Gordon-style operation was done at the age of 23 to correct his brain defect. Originally a doctor, he started detective work because he would that it was a good way to keep his immense talents from going to waste. After his mother was murdered, he became appalled at the horrible crime rate in New York, which added to his enthusiasm.
