Detective Biography

I grew up on a farm with my father, my mother had passed when I was twelve.

I didn't have any brothers or sisters and my father had pulled me out of public school right after my mothers passing, so I worked almost all day on the farm.

I never had a chance to go outside much, I was either studying or working. I had studied many subjects and by the time I was eighteen, I had my own college education.

I moved to the city the summer after my eighteenth birthday and got a job as a freelance photographer.

One day I was taking photos of a really slummy neighborhood for a report of poverty when a man ran out of a store across the street, he was being chased and turned around and shot the store owner right in the belly... I got it all on film. He fled and the cops showed up about thirty minutes later.

I asked to see the detective in charge and they told me to wait by the car until he arrived.

Once he arrived I told him about the film and we were off to develop it. They were able to identify and prosecute the criminal because of my pictures and I have been interested in the field ever since.

I received a number of job offers for the N.Y. police department after some cases I had solved were mentioned in the paper, but I never trusted the cops to get a job done correctly and swiftly - and I didn't want to be part of that.
