Detective Biography
Drake Matthews the II (not jr, he HATES jr) is the son of the first Drake Matthews. While his father distrusted the local police, he joined them against his wishes. He too lost faith in the police like his father, however, when he saw his father slain by some of the cops he worked with. His father had been on a case that didn't sit well with Cosa Nostra, and so the corrupt police were paid to silence him. Drake Matthews II quit and started his own detective agency, on occasion working for Cosa Nostra while secretly plotting to bring them to justice. He models his dress and methods like that of his favorite literary detective Sherlock Holmes. He prefers to use his brains to solve his cases, but will use brawn when the situation calls for it.
