Detective Biography

Eraine was raised in the Madeira archipelego, a chain of islands serving as a trading post for the merchants of southern Europe and northern Africa. While other children played on the beach, she shadowed the merchants in the bazaar, hoping to pick up a few words of their languages or tales of exciting adventures in exotic locations.

Eraine dreamed of becoming a spy, but her independence and free spirit made government service an impossibility. After a brief, and ultimately unsuccessful, career as an attorney, she settled down with dark and handsome man (of mysterious origin) from Southeast Asia. Life as a housewife failed to satisfy her curiosity and love for adventure, so she free-lanced for awhile as a private investigator in New York. Tales of her success traveled to all corners of the globe--soon, she was recruited by Sirens, the top agency in all of London. After a brief stint in the rainy city, she departed for India as an officer in the agency's new headquarters.

Her tenure with Sirens ended when her husband fell ill--the agency wouldn't give her time off to be at his bedside. Now, those who seek her should search the market in Connaught Circle, where she spends afternoons perfecting her Hindi by haggling with the samosa vendors.
