a detective agency, how come "chronestrian" (subscription status: unsubscribed) is the director of the E.R.F. Team (highest ranking agency in New York). http://newyork.hypoware.com/detective/detective.spy?id=12664 for reference. *scratches head*

You have to be subscribed to join an agency. However, if you are in an agency and your subscription lapses, you are not kicked out. If you have a lapse subscription and leave your agency, you will not be able to rejoin or join another without resubscribing.

Does that help? :)

Keneth you also need to be subbed in order to FORM an agency.
But when your subscription ends you can stay in. You can leave or travel though.

I think Reda just had a typo and meant to put "CAN'T leave or travel." :)

But you can leave - the agency, not the city ;)

Yes, but if you leave the agency, you can't rejoin it or join another without a new subscription. :)

I don't know why. But for some reason this whole exchange makes me chuckle.
