Who's your favirate Detective?

I was just wondering whos the most popular detective?
Mine is the Belgium Detective Hercule Poirot(spell it right). Hes great,and its very clever how he sovles his cases. My 2nd one is Sherlock Holms.

My favourite would have to be Arkady Renko from Martin Cruz Smith's Gorky Park novels.
