Sleuth Survey

I was just wondering about the survey that popped up when I logged on today. I completed it, then got to the City News. Did anyone else complete this survey? It never popped up before, and there is (as far as I know) no thread that speaks about it. Not even from Ben. Of course I had the choice to skip it, but I decided not to. Does this provide Ben with some information from detectives? Is he going to improve the game, or just keep a fact-file on some of the questions answered?

Still, I'm not sure if the survey is brand new, or an old thing that people have completed months ago. Wouldn't there be a thread somewhere? Anyway, I was just wondering...

I had forgotten about Sleuth Map! Another fun find and it wasn't even buried too deep!

cfm, I think the link you gave back then for the Map is broken.

I filled out the survey when I was using "raci" as my most active detective and was therefore reluctant to fill it our again. Multiple surveys filled out by the same user would render the survey unreliable, obviously.

And I remember answering some questions incorrectly; I was trying to avoid having to skip survey every time I logged in, so I filled it in. Sorry.

I have had my mail full of junk stuff many times just because I filled out some surveys over the past 3-4 years, hated it, closed Facebook accounts and the like, etc.
I had no idea what Noir was really like. My apologies.

Stats back then seem interesting: It somehow made me think that Sleuth Noir players are usually adults over the age of 25 who come to Sleuth knowing what they want. Cause a very little portion of the players are involved with other games and many have high-speed. Sleuth doesn't has other sites redirect themselves to its address by ads and all, so chances are you either know Sleuth because you have searched for mystery games, or because you searched something related to mystery and noir, or you heard about it from someone else.

Assuming +- 5% change due to corrupt result like mine, I think stats back then yielded interesting results, some of which as Ben said, could be interpreted differently. I am curious about the present Noir stats now.

Nice read, cfm. Thank you. I wish I had you in the cave of labyrinths to show me the way to Lamasery :)

Eden, like SleuthChat, SleuthMaps was run by a detective. I imagine the site has been down for sometime now.

As for me being of any use in the labyrinths... only if you want to get lost. :) I don't think I ever made it all the way through and I haven't tried since returning.

Oh no, I had figured out the map by the time I posted that.

You seem to remember many topics started in message boards, I falsely assumed that you also remembered the way to the lamasery and enjoyed my time awhile, imagining you holding out a candle before all the newbies, telling Noir stories and nostalgia on the way. "Once upon a time, ..." ;)

I can certainly handle the story telling portion. The lamasery timed in about the same time I was checking out. I ~think~ I might have a map somewhere, now that you mention it...*wanders off to search through stacks of boxes and files*
