He'd had enough of my questions, unless there was something I could do to convince him to be more cooperative

Becareful with that double clicking. It can cost you questions with your townies and suspects, and it can also creat locker havoc. It calls up the locker ghosts who enjoy transforming objects into new items, not always a good thing.
