what happens when I get 3 false accusations?

My last case: only 3 suspects had bad a alibi, 1 was killed in the course of the case leaving 2. The 2 pieces of PE I had was discovered to NOT belong to Suspect Amy, therefore I guessed it must belong to Suspect Joe. Wrong again. It belonged to suspect Justin who had a good alibi. (i musta wrote it down wrong. The tailor is sorely disapointed I could not solve this for him.

3 false accusations, your detective retires and you have to start over with a new name.

I can't think of a case level that has just three suspects, so my suggestion is to be sure that you ask everyone on your orginal list about others with motive until your suspect list is complete. Also, it sounds like this was a favor, which might be a harder level than your detective is able to solve right now. Remember, you can always quit a case you are unsure about. Safer than a false accuation by far!

sorry, didn't mean 3 suspects, i meant 3 suspects with bad a bad alibi, 4 with a good alibi (1 of which was really a bad alibi and I wrote it down wrong)

You might not always find all the PE in a case. It depends on your smart adjusments and if you have basic smart skills (hair and thread). So I wouldnt guess if you have less than 4 PE's.
