Will favours change if i dont do it for one day?
Also, it's better to get a contact on someone like tailors, shoe makers, and bankers because they can answer questions on evidences right?

Nope. In each city you can have 2 contacts. You dont need to wait for first one in each. Some of us dont travel and still get 2 contacts in their city.

hazelnini, you have a good chance of getting your second contact in your city by 150,000 experience points, if you don't get it before then. No guarantees about this if you are quitting favors in order to try to manipulate which contact you get, however.
