I've had this idea for months and hope others will like it, for sure you Ben, wink, wink!. Ok, here it is. Lately I've noticed that Fat Chuck & Chronestron's names are no longer on the High Score Board, and soon Bella Luna will be gone. I hate it that we won't be able to see their names listed any longer, so I had this idea to be able to always honor them and the great agents and agenices here. If we had a "HALL OF FAME ROOM," we could add the names of all agents that have reached No. 1 in rank, such as Fat Chuck, Bella Luna, Chronestron, jstkdn and Skyler Michael for reaching No. 1 in rank. Also, add the agencies that reached No. 1 in rank, ERF, Black Swan, Chicago, Sirens, Starsky and Hutch, and any others who I didn't mention. This would be a great way to honor all the greatest players and agencies for their accomplishments and forever showcase them where all new players for years to come can see who accomlished what. I feel this would add excitment and create a goal for everyone to work hard to achieve.

I also think the names of these great agents should also be added for their accomplishments, jojo227's for creating "Sleuth's Hint Help Line, "Reaper's Agency by Webmaster Delvin-that offers general information about the game, "Sleuths Chat by jstkdn," then "Sleuths Helper by Naomi Hong," as well as "John Hale's-"Man Behind Sleuth's Best Featured mysteries by Michael Bogen." There again adding the names of all Moderators would be neat, and most of all, Ben and Sunny Ringold, for creating this great game and all their involvment. Ok, I shared my idea, and if anyone has something to add, jump right in :)

James, I think what DaRu meant was the hall of Fame on Sleuth, and not on a community site. Which is why I read her thread as something different then your suggestion. To me there is a distinct difference between the two. To me a community site is always a communite site, and not sleuth.
I would pretty much LOVE it if Ben added sleuthchat as officially part of sleuth. However if I was Ben, I wouldn't. It would be an extra thing for him to look out over, as it becomes part of his sleuth.

Thanks for jstkdn. Yes, I meant a "Hall of Fame," in Slueth. If we only add the names of No. 1 agents & agencies, then hopefully this would make it easier. I don't know how difficult it would be on Ben to do this, or how much time it would take to add a title "Hall of Fame," in with the "High Scores, Treasure Hunts, Game Info, and City News, or whatever Ben thinks, but if it's an added burden on him, then it's not worth it. Also, a community site would be great as well, and like you mentioned jstkdn "Agent of the Month."

Well, since it is apparently impossible for 2 people to be thinking of similar ideas without taking them from someone else, I'll have to say that I feel that Daru's "take on James Lee's epitome" would probably be more beneficial to the newer players that don't know about or feel that they would not be interested in community sites as it would be a part of Sleuth itself. It is encouraging to see the huge amounts of experience and great things people do to further this game to those of us who love it.

ps. yes jstkdn, I'm aware my subscription ran out, i'll rectify it when i get a moment. :)

Just a thought...How about when someone or an agency reaches a cartain mark (whatever-not my job to descide--ande I don't spell check sorry) that could go on their detective bio, right under there new handy dany history of posts.

Example:
Daru: "Nicest person in the world" of the month, September 2005
jstkdn: Top Agent November 14, 2004-August 30, 2005
ERT: Top Agency April 24 (blah blah blah-you get the idea)

Yeah except I wasn't number 1 for THAT long. I took over from the gracious Bella in the week of the introduction of the new cities. ;)

Hey, I noticed when I clicked on "Game Info," that it had a list of the "Sleuth Team," our Moderators, & so on, plus "Sleuth Donors," that contributed financially to this game. I was thinking, what about creating a "Journal of Achievements," and list it here, and add all the names of our No.1 agents (regardless of how long they've ranked No. 1, lol) and agencies that reached No. 1. Also, if we have a monthly winners, then list them, as well as the winners of the BIO contest. Every great title holder would be honored here, since the beginning of this game, until forever. It would be an easy way to click and see. Oh and thank you P.Rockwell, but if anyone is one of the sweetest agent's here, it's you! There's so many that are speical to me that it would be a hard to decide..lol. Sleuth rocks!
