What ever happened to the old guide that suggested to you what level of cases to take based upon your experience points??? I was gone for a long-time (under my other account) and am finding that I REALLY miss that guide! :( It used to be part of the selection of cases....

*scratches her head*

Ummm...

I don't think it really matters what your experience is. It matters more what skills you have and your iterview method.

*knows she's been a little confused lately, but can't remember such a guide in the 10 months she's been here....*

Do you mean the little tag that shows up on the closed levels that tells you how many experience points you need to open a level?

There have been a few answers, that advise what level case to open but never relating to experience points. All in a way of, try it out, if it is too difficult, move back.

What guide he may mean is, the old Sleuth lay out. It then said, the difficulty level and above how many experienced points you were allowed to open it.

Personally, I think being able to play a case at a certain difficulty level is not so much experience related. But more so clothes and skills related.

I would certainly be interested to know at what level you can do Almost Impossible cases. There are a lot of stuck cases in our agency, where I have the necessary contact to solve, but cannot do Almost Impossible cases yet.

Your experience needs to be at least 100,000 to open Almosts. As for the other levels I think it's 20,000 to open Ridiculously, but that's about the only ones I remember at the moment.

Anyway, if what you're looking for is when you'll be able to open certain case levels, then holding your cursor over the various levels, which you can't access, should tell you how much exp. you'll need to have before being able to open them :)

I believe it's 1, 2, add 0, Greyling.

For example, I believe Really Hards require 1000, and Really Really Hards require 2000. And then, Incredibly Hards require 10000, and Stupendously Hards are 20000.

Okay after a little poking around the list for how much experience is required to access the various levels is as follows:

Beginner - available from the beginning up to max. 200
Easy - available from the beginning
Intermediate - available from the beginning
Hard - available from the beginning
Really Hard – min. 400
Really Really Hard – min. 1000
Incredibly Hard – min. 2000
Stupendously Hard – min. 10,000
Ridiculously Hard – min. 20,000
Almost Impossible – min. 100,000

:)
