Although I don't like to emphasize Dutch stereo types in any way.

I did grow up next door, to a typical Dutch village. I actually went to school there, and spent my lunch breaks there. Normal people still live there, although a few buildings are for visiting tour tourists. To sell pancakes, make wooden shoes, cheese, delft blue.

I took my camera out yesterday, and stuck them in an online sllide show.

I actually still live about a 20 minute walk from this place.

Great pix!! Looks a lot like pix of Norway I've seen. One question: How in the world did you get that close to a bull? Beautiful!!

I went with a Youth Group - about 20 of us. We spent a time in both Zierekzee (sp??) and Lekikurk (I have no idea how to spell it, but I remember that it means "little church") I absolutely loved it!! Then again, how could I not love a country where i got to eat bread, butter and chocolate sprinkles every morning!! Hagelslag! - yea, THAT i remember how to spell!! I brought 8 boxes home! (ah geez, now I've gone and drooled on my keyboard just thinking about it!) :)
