for a while now ive been working on a site that in some sort of way honors the people of the sleuth community, sort of like a hall of fame. but to keep the choice of who goes in or not remains unbiased, i want around four people to help me with choosing of people. but since i havent been on game long enough for some time to really know who would fit that description, i leave it to the community to nominate several people to fill that job and out of those nominated, i will choose the one w/the most nominations. any questions just pm me.

OK I moderated myself above, because it was meant for another thread. Just to clear that up.

I think John is on to something here. Let very old sleuths do it.

However, Ben will win.....FOR SURE!!! So I am thinking, it will save you some time James.

DaRu posted something, but in the wrong thread.
Here it is:

James Lee, you and I must have been in the same frame of mind lately..lol. I haven't read the threads at "Sleuth Lounge," due to being continually involved at "Gumshoe Lounge," the past several weeks. When I saw and read your thread I was excited. Just today I told texan the greatest detectives should be honored or named somewhere here as the "Most Famous Detectives," in various areas. Like jstkdn mentioned, several catagories would be great to honor all that's deserving, such as funniest, most helpful, creative, oldest sleuth, best moderator and so on. The RETIRED DETECTIVES, would also need several catagories as well. After all they were here during the beta testing. It would be neat to have an online ballot where we could logon to then put a check mark beside the one's were voting for then submit the ballot to each selected member of the committee. After all ballots are turned in to each member, and they've each tallied up the votes, they they could submit their totals to Ben who in return can post it on Sleuth's message board. Also, it would be fun to create a certifcate or typed reward to give each winner as a keepsake, like the following:
"SLEUTH NOIR MYSTERY GAME"
Ben & Sunny Ringold-Owners
On this ___day of ________, 2005, We the Committee, Jack the Ripper, Mary Jane, and John Doe, announce the winner "Detective Nancy Due," to be "Sleuths Most Famouns Mystery Writer.".................... (and other comments as desired.)

Committee of Detectives:
Jack the Ripper
John Doe
Mary Jane, or whatever

This was just a brain strom and probably too much trouble..hehe. Ok, I'm zipping it!

Thanks sweetie pie for taking care of this and making sure my thread got put in it's proper place..lol. You're a sweetheart. Hey, I'm blaming this on texan cause he was talking to me while I tried to copy and paste it here..hehe. Besides he won't read the message board here and see my reply..lol. Am I mean or what? On second thought don't answer that....hehe.
